I’ll be taking a hiatus from Instagram to focus on this sweet bundle of joy. My biggest hope has always been to share the importance of living a life of abundance in God by keeping focused on the most important things. For me, that’s always been my faith and my family. So I’m practicing what I preach and putting the phone away. I’d much rather be staring into this beautiful little face...idk when I’ll be back at it here, but just wanted to say thank you for all the love and support these past few months!!
•
P.S. I’ll still be writing as I’m able and probably doing YouTube videos some as well, so stop by the blog and YouTube channel if you want to keep up with Honestly Rebecca 🤍
When we begin to rest in the simple truths that Go When we begin to rest in the simple truths that God created us lovable and that He loves us deeply, everything else begins to fall into place. We find ourselves looking upon Him and trusting in His love to sustain us. And as we look to God, He fills us so we are overflowing.
As we meditate and rest in His love for us, we are then able to pour out His love onto others. We naturally reflect the light we are resting in. As with all good things, it comes not out of our own effort or works but rather as a natural result of knowing who God is and resting in His goodness and love for us.
•
When we turn our eyes on God and His faithfulness and love to us, we can’t help but love others, love Him, and love ourselves well as a result.
•
“We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19
When it comes to self-worth and value, there are t When it comes to self-worth and value, there are two main truths you should know:
1.	You are lovable
2.	You are loved
Without believing these two truths about ourselves, we will have trouble understanding our true worth as children of God. In fact, it’s from knowing these truths that our ultimate calling as Christians – to love God and love one another - gains its power!
•
When I start to feel off kilter, upset, or even angry, many times it boils down to me losing sight of one or both of those two key truths. When I am able to pause and breathe and remind my heart that I am lovable and am indeed loved, my heart begins to settle. As I set my eyes on God, I find peace amidst whatever challenges I may be facing and am able to walk forward in truth and strength.
•
As we head into Valentine's weekend, I pray we are all able to rest in the truths that we were created lovable and are loved so very deeply by the God of the universe. For more on this topic and a deeper dive into some Bible verses on it, check out the brand new blog post and YouTube video at the link in my bio! 🤍
God's Word really does have the answers we need. A God's Word really does have the answers we need. A lot of times, we think this means that written between the lines somewhere is our destiny. We think we'll find solutions cryptically cross-referencing scriptures. But it's so much simpler than that....Micah 6:8 tells us that He has shown us what is good!! "...And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
•
In a world that focuses on self and seems to enjoy over-complicating things, be the one to rise above! When we set our sights on God and do what is right, we will find what is good. When we seek Him FIRST, everything else we need will be added (Matt 6:33).
•
There's no gain to be found in self-promotion or individual, worldly success. There's nothing to be acquired through exhausting hustle and striving. There's no magic formula to a good life.
•
There is, however, God. And in releasing it all to Him, we find life to the full.
As I look back over the past 9 months, I’m so gr As I look back over the past 9 months, I’m so grateful for all this season of pregnancy has taught me. Pregnancy is simultaneously a glorious and humbling experience. I can only imagine what motherhood will hold.
•
I wrote a blog post the other day picking out the 5 biggest things I feel like I’ve learned over the last 9 months, and none of them are pregnancy specific. I’m so glad to be walking out of this time with some new tools in my toolbox of life and new levels of growth. Over the past 9 months, I feel like I have seen more than ever the importance of:
1. Having a good support system
2. Taking care of myself
3. Setting my priorities
4. Listening to myself (internally and to my body)
5. Staying humble + continuing to grow
•
The truth is, these 5 things are really key for all of us to live a healthy and abundant life!! I am looking forward to continuing to grow in these areas as I step into motherhood and I pray that you all may do the same, no matter what season of life you’re in!

It's the month of love 🤍 During this time, I wa It's the month of love 🤍 During this time, I want to remind you that YOU ARE LOVABLE and YOU ARE LOVED! God has been working this truth deeper and deeper into my heart as of late, and I'm finding greater levels of healing and freedom the more I rest in this truth.
•
The Creator of the universe knit you together and called you good (Ps 139:13, Gen 1:31). Before you could even begin to love Him, He loved you and chose you and gave His life for you (Ro 5:8). YOU, yes YOU are worthy of love and you ARE LOVED!
•
Repeat it to yourself as many times as you need. Write it on a post it. Make it your background. The more we understand how lovable and loved we are, the more you and I become capable of pouring that same love out on others in turn.
It’s baby month! 🎉

I don’t know when I’ve been more ready for anything in my life. The reality is I’m achy and tired and having trouble sleeping these days, but I’m also soaking in every minute. I’m holding on to the fact that my sweet son will be in my arms very soon.
•
A special shout-out to this amazing man by my side every minute of it. I couldn’t ask for a better husband or father for my children. He has treated me so well, has taken such good care of me and made this season so fun! I can’t wait to see him with Judah.

There is no more firm and steady place to build ou There is no more firm and steady place to build our life from than from a place of hope. 🙏 When our hope in God runs deep, we don’t have to worry about what may come our way because we know that God is faithful and good.
